Bingo Security Tips

Playing Bingo online is fast becoming the preferred way in which to enjoy the great game of Bingo; and with online Bingo sites popping up all over the internet, you may be alittle fearful when it comes to playing safe online. Staying safe when playing Bingo online is easy, there's nothing to be scared of if you keep the following information in mind.

Online Security starts at home

Keeping your computer protected is the best piece of advice we could give when it comes to playing Bingo safely online. Be sure to keep your virus scanner up to date, and regularly scan your computer to make sure your not carrying any harmful viruses. - If you don't have a virus scanner, I would highly recommend you purchase one (they're fairly cheap, and will save you alot of problems whether you play bingo online or not!).

Stick with reputable Bingo websites

In my experience, playing bingo online is fairly safe providing you stick with the well know, reputable bingo companies. Before signing up to any Bingo site, id recommend you do alittle research on the site to see what experience people have had with your chosen bingo site. Such places as our Bingo forum are a great way to talk to other Bingo players about their experiences with various Bingo websites on the internet.

Id also recommend taking a look at our Bingo site review section which features honest and unbiased reviews of most bingo sites online.

Choose the right password and keep it safe

Upon signing up to an online Bingo website, you'll be prompted to choose a password. Try to choose a password which will both be easy to remember, but hard to guess (the name of your dog isn't the safest of passwords); a combination of letters and numbers make great passwords.

For example: "freddy1205" is better than "freddy"; or to be extra security, why not mix your letters and numbers together to come up with such as password as "fr3dd6y"?

Credit/Debit Card Security Tips

If you plan on playing online alot, why not think about creating a seperate account for your playing needs? Top it up with as much money as you intent on spending, and keep it overdraft free!

I'd also recommend regularly checking your balance and keeping an eye out for any suspicious charges. - whilst it's very unlikely, it always pays to be safe.
